Adjustable pallet racking systems come in all sorts of configurations, but the importance of getting the basics right is fundamental. For safe and efficient operation, racking systems must be designed to fit and function with both the handling equipment and the load.

Racking systems may have to work with counterbalance trucks, reach trucks, narrow aisle trucks or automated handling equipment.

Drive-in racking provides greater storage density and live storage systems can offer excellent selectivity.

New systems have for many years conformed with the FEM European standard, a tougher standard than was common in the UK. The range of capacities available has enabled systems to be supplied that have previously been considered impossible.
